Established in February 2018, the Pak-Italian Centre emerged from an international collaboration and investment, marking a major milestone in regional healthcare. Built at a cost of approximately PKR 900 million, it was inaugurated to address urgent treatment gaps in South Punjab. Since then, it has evolved into a leading institution for burn care, reconstructive surgery, and survivor rehabilitation. Beyond medical treatment, the centre emphasizes support systems like psychosocial counseling, vocational training, and legal assistance for survivors—making it a holistic healthcare provider in the region.
